Meet Lori. If you are a residence here in Madera, you more than likely heard of this tragic loss that took place, Thursday, May 8th. A spontaneous fire went off in Lord’s kitchen, luckily while she was not home. However, it took every possession she owned, other than the close on her back, and the purse she was carrying.
As we arrived, we arrived, we meet Lori with grace and compassion. We were able to pray together and be thankful this didn’t happen while she was in her home and asleep.
Because of our partners, we have been able to work with various companies to help Lori remove the remanence of her home. We were also able to ensure she had a place to stay not just for the night but a permanent living situation. We were able to take her shopping to grab some home essentials for her new place.
